Daniel Lentz

Daniel Lentz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in building inspection and public safety. Currently serving as a Building Inspector for the City of Maplewood since April 2021, Lentz previously held the same position with the City of Stillwater from September 2019 to April 2021. In addition to expertise in municipal building regulations, Lentz has a robust background in the military as a Fire Support NCO in the Army National Guard since October 2005, leading a team of fire support specialists. Lentz's professional journey also includes roles as a Construction Project Coordinator with Phoenix Companies LLC and a Correctional Officer at Anoka County Corrections. Early career experience features an assistant manager and bartender position at Buffalo Wild Wings. Lentz earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from North Dakota State University between 2010 and 2013.
