Ryan Schroeder

Ryan Schroeder possesses extensive experience in public safety and fire administration, currently serving as the Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Maplewood since April 2022. Previously, Ryan held the position of Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Golden Valley, MN, and served as Fire Chief for the City of Watertown from June 2009 to January 2022. Ryan’s background also includes roles as a Police Officer/Firefighter in the City of Woodbury and Fire Captain during tenure at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Hamline University, completion of the Executive Fire Officer Program from the National Fire Academy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Saint John's University.
