Jeffrey Lazenby

Jeffrey Lazenby currently serves as the Director of Finance for the City of Marble Falls, Texas, overseeing accounting, finance, budget, and utility billing since March 2021. Previously, Lazenby was the Finance Director for the City of Blaine, Washington, from January 2009 to March 2021, where significant accomplishments included implementing internal controls that ensured 11 consecutive clean financial and accountability audits. Prior experience also includes the role of Administrative Services Manager at the Whatcom County Library System from September 2005 to December 2008, where Lazenby managed a $9 million operating and capital budget. Lazenby holds a Master of Governmental Accounting from Rutgers Business School (2021-2022), a Master of Public Administration in Public Finance from California State University, Fullerton (1999-2003), and a Bachelor of Arts in History & Political Science from Vanguard University of Southern California (1994-1997).
