Jill Bergman

Jill Bergman has extensive work experience in the field of community and economic development. Jill currently holds the position of Community and Economic Development Director at the City of Martinez since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Business and Economic Development Director at the Town of Danville from July 2021 to June 2023. Jill'sprevious roles at the Town of Danville include Economic Development Manager from July 2007 to June 2021, Senior Planner from July 2004 to July 2007, Associate Planner from July 1999 to July 2004, and Assistant Planner from July 1998 to July 1999. Before joining the Town of Danville, Jill worked at CH2M HILL as a Project Assistant/Contract Planner from January 1995 to June 1998. Jill began their career at Emporium Capwells as a Customer Service Supervisor from April 1987 to June 1995.

Jill Bergman earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies from California State University Hayward, studying from 1992 to 1994.
