Quinn Averett

Quinn Averett has extensive work experience in law enforcement. They started their career as a Deputy Sheriff at the Iron County Sheriff's Office in 2003 and worked there until 2012. In 2012, they joined the Mesquite Police Department as an IT Specialist, where they implemented and managed new projects and served on the department's IT Board. They also served as a Project Manager, conducting audits and merging various manuals into a single policy and procedure manual. In 2014, Quinn took on the role of Public Information Officer, managing the department's public information office, including social media accounts and press releases. They also served as a Policy Manager, maintaining and updating policy and procedural manuals for different departments within the police department. Additionally, they were a K9 Officer for a period of four years. Quinn also briefly served as the Deputy Chief for the City of Mesquite, Nevada.

Quinn Averett pursued a degree in Emergency Management Administration with a field of study in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Utah Valley University. Unfortunately, no start or end year was provided for this educational experience.
