Christopher Dedene

Christopher DeDene is a seasoned pavement engineer and materials lab manager with extensive experience in civil engineering. Currently, Christopher manages the engineering laboratory for the City of Minneapolis, focusing on asphalt, concrete, soils, and materials testing while designing effective pavement solutions. Prior roles include serving as a pavement engineer at American Engineering Testing, Inc., overseeing pavement investigation and rehabilitation projects, and as a Design-Construction Interface Engineer for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, where Christopher led initiatives to standardize construction practices and trained employees on new review processes. Academic credentials include a PhD and master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and Michigan Technological University, respectively, as well as a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
