Daniel Colvin

Public Works Project Coordinator at City of Minneapolis

Daniel Colvin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Daniel began working as a GROK IT Article Writer at Louisiana State University in August 2011. In June 2012, they interned with the Louisiana Democratic Party. From August 2015 to August 2016, they worked at Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor/Trainer/Barista. Daniel then joined FareStart, where they held various roles, including Cafe Instructor from September 2016 to March 2017, Youth Culinary Trainer from March 2017 to October 2018, Lead Youth Culinary Trainer from August to October 2018, and Youth Culinary Program Supervisor from October 2018 to September 2019. Daniel then joined the Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium in July 2020 as a Program Coordinator and later became a Program Manager from December 2021 to December 2022. Currently, they are working as a Public Works Operations Analyst at the City of Minneapolis, starting in November 2022.

Daniel Colvin has a diverse education history that showcases their interest in public administration and political science. From 2018 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at both the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Washington, and the University of Washington. In this program, Daniel focused on studying and understanding effective public administration practices. Prior to their MPA studies, they attended Louisiana State University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their undergraduate years, they concentrated on two fields of study: Political Science and Religious Studies. It is evident that Daniel's educational background has equipped him with a solid foundation in public administration and a strong understanding of political science.
