Geoffrey Johnson

Geoffrey Johnson has extensive law enforcement and emergency services experience, currently serving as a Police Sergeant Investigator with the City of Minneapolis since January 1999, where responsibilities include patrol duties in South Minneapolis and previous coordination of MPD/CITY IT functions. From 1995 to 2009, Geoffrey Johnson worked as a certified firefighter in River Falls, Wisconsin, holding credentials as FF1 and FF2, First Responder, and Hazmat Operations level. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Park Ranger for Dakota County and a Loss Prevention Specialist for Shopko Stores Inc. Educational credentials comprise a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and various certifications in firefighting and law enforcement from Chippewa Valley Technical College and Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
