Geoffrey Muraguri

Geoffrey Muraguri, MBA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and budget management. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Management and Budget Office for the City of Minneapolis since June 2013, Geoffrey is responsible for overseeing a city budget of $1.7 billion, conducting financial studies, and providing strategic advice and leadership. Prior to this role, Geoffrey worked at Hutchinson Technology Inc. from September 2005 to December 2012, where responsibilities included financial trend analysis, budget administration, and economic monitoring. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Metro State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Nairobi, and Certified Public Accountant designation from Strathmore University.
