Mark Thomas

Mark Thomas has a diverse work experience in both the public and private sectors. Mark started their career in 2003 as a Billing Specialist at Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand, LLP, where they worked until 2006. After that, they joined the City of Minneapolis in 2008, starting as an Account Clerk II in the Payroll Division. Mark then served as a Customer Service Rep I from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they took on the role of an Account Clerk II in the Finance Department's Payroll Division. Mark's most recent position at the City of Minneapolis was as an Accountant I, which they held from 2015 to the present.

Mark Thomas earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from North Hennepin Community College from 1988 to 1992. Mark then pursued further education at Metro State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from 1999 to 2005.
