Angela Simonson

Angela Simonson, MPA, PHR, serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the City of Missoula since March 2021. With extensive experience in human resources, Angela has held various roles, including Human Resource Consultant for Communication and Management Services, LLC, and the Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority, where responsibilities encompassed policy development, performance management, and risk management services. Previous positions include Human Resource Specialist at the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, Recruiting and Benefits Specialist at TwinStar Credit Union, and Staffing Consultant at the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Angela earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Montana.
