Mhr Christina Alger Shrm-Scp, Clrm

Christina Alger, MHR, SHRM-SCP, CLRM, serves as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Modesto since January 2018, overseeing comprehensive HR operations, including personnel services, employee relations, and contract negotiations. In addition to leading the Human Resources Department, Christina is a Business Instructor at California State University, Stanislaus, and has held leadership roles such as Past President of the Central Valley Human Resource Management Association. Christina's prior experience includes serving as the Human Resources Director at Del Rio Country Club and Business Manager at New York & Company, along with various HR roles in other organizations. Christina holds a Master's degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources from California State University, Stanislaus.
