Elizabeth Hanson is an experienced utilities billing and GIS records specialist currently employed by the City of Moline since June 2019. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as an accounting specialist and maintenance bookkeeper at NAI Ruhl Commercial Company, where responsibilities included providing accounting services and assisting the CFO. Previous positions include roles at Augustana College as a Geosciences Administrative Assistant and GIS Technician, and at Quad City Health Initiative, where project assistance and administrative support for health initiatives were provided. Elizabeth's earlier experience includes GIS positions at the Bi-State Regional Commission and Iowa State University, along with service as a GIS Technician and Prairie Specialist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources during AmeriCorps. Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning, a Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Augustana College.
