Josh Beck

Josh Beck is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Support Analyst for the City of Mount Airy, North Carolina since April 2022. Previously, Josh held the position of Computer Systems Technician for the County of Surry from November 2016 to April 2022, where responsibilities included hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and providing support for county government staff. As a retired Construction Engineering Supervisor (12H) with the North Carolina National Guard from January 2002 to January 2022, Josh supervised various construction projects and ensured compliance with specifications. Additional roles at Surry Community College and Wilkes Community College focused on help desk operations, academic support, and tutoring. Josh holds an Associate in Applied Science in Computer Information Technology from Wilkes Community College and has a High School Diploma from Elkin High School.
