Mike Amado

Mike Amado serves as the IT Program Administrator for the City of Murrieta, overseeing the implementation of citywide information technology projects and ensuring effective communication among various teams. Prior to this position, Mike was an Information Technology Strategist for the City of Fort Lauderdale, where responsibilities included conducting complex studies within the police department, developing Requests For Proposals, and managing system implementation projects. Mike's career also includes experience as a Police Officer and Senior Technical Support Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, as well as a Junior Engineer at IT Focus LLC, and a Network Administrator at Nobhill Medical Center. Mike earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology with a focus on Server Administration and Networking from Florida International University in 2012.
