Dave Stewart is an experienced social planner with a comprehensive background in urban planning and environmental management. Since November 2004, Dave has served in various roles for the City of Nanaimo, successfully preparing bylaw amendments, leading the development of an award-winning Zoning Bylaw, and managing several planning applications. Previous roles include environmental planner for the City of Nanaimo and planning assistant for the City of Charlottetown. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Urban and Rural Planning from Dalhousie University and a Local Government Administration Certificate from Capilano University, complementing a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria.
