Irma Terry currently serves as the Community Resource Coordinator for the City of New Smyrna Beach since July 2019. With over three decades of experience in the field, Irma retired from the State of Florida, where roles included Detention Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor, and Detention Officer from May 1988 to July 2019. Prior to these positions, Irma worked as a tutor for the Central Daytona Beach Pal Program from August 2013 to May 2014 and for the Weed and Seed Tutoring Program from August 2011 to May 2013. Irma holds a Master's degree in Career and Technical Education and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, along with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Daytona State College.
