Jolanda Williams

Jolanda Williams is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as the Deputy Municipal Administrator for the City of Newark, a position held since June 2008. In this role, Jolanda oversees the Office of Partnerships and Grants Management, focusing on the management of various federal grants, including the Community Development Block Grant and others associated with HUD. Previous positions include Director of Innovation and Performance Management and Director of the Office of Partnerships and Grants Management, where responsibilities encompassed budget management, program oversight, and the development of innovative processes. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles at Math for America, BCT Partners, LLC, and DB Consulting Group, Inc., and legislative positions within the U.S. House of Representatives. Jolanda holds a Master of Arts in German Cultural Studies from Cornell University and has been involved in educational instruction as a German Language and Writing Instructor.
