Luis Ulerio

Luis Ulerio has a diverse professional background in housing and homeless services. They have held leadership roles in various organizations, including the City of Newark, Rutgers Business School, AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, and Newark Housing Authority. Currently serving as the Director of the Mayor's Office of Homeless Services, they were appointed by Mayor Ras J. Baraka in early 2022 to lead the city's first Office of Homeless Services. With a strong track record of managing housing programs and initiatives, Luis has played a crucial role in responding to homelessness and expanding housing opportunities across New Jersey.
