Mayor Torrance Harvey

Torrance Harvey is the Mayor of the City of Newburgh NY, who also serves as an Executive Committee Member at the Rotary Club. Mayor Torrance is a History Teacher at Newburgh Free Academy PTech, a Curriculum Developer at Newburgh Enlarged City School District, and a Professor of History at PTECH. Additionally, Torrance is the Founder and CEO of Torrance Harvey Enterprises, where Mayor Torrance provides acting performances for various productions and events. As an Actor registered with SAG-AFTRA and the Screen Actors Guild, Torrance has a background in various television, film, and commercial productions. Mayor Torrance is also the Founder and President of the non-profit mentor group, 100 Men For Newburgh. Torrance holds a B.A. in Drama, an M.S. in Education, an MFA in Acting, and has obtained executive education from Harvard Kennedy School.
