Stanley F. Merritt Mpa

Stanley F. Merritt, MPA, currently serves as the Personnel Administrator for the Poughkeepsie City School District since June 2022 and has been the Human Resources Administrator for the City of Newburgh, New York, since October 2019. Previously, Stanley held the position of Vice Chair for the Parent & Community Engagement Committee at Poughkeepsie City School District from January 2013 to June 2019, where the committee aimed to enhance engagement among district stakeholders. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Director at the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority from November 2009 to November 2011, and spanning over a decade at the City of Poughkeepsie as both Personnel Administrator and Assistant Superintendent of Public Works. Earlier career roles include Political Action Coordinator at CSEA, Inc. and involvement in various educational institutions, culminating in a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Marist College.
