George Vining (Geordie)

George (Geordie) Vining is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager for the City of Newburyport, overseeing a variety of municipal projects since January 2001, with a focus on conservation land, public spaces, and infrastructure. Previous roles include Senior Land Conservation Specialist at The Trustees of Reservations and Natural Resource Planner at the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, where land conservation and public access projects were successfully managed. George has also served as a Trip Leader for Wilderness Inquiry, a Research Assistant at the Center for Rural Studies, and an Outreach Coordinator for the Philadelphia Committee for the Homeless. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Natural Resource Planning from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology from Amherst College.
