Greg Reck

Greg Reck has extensive experience in various leadership roles, primarily within the aerospace and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Bicycle & Pedestrian Trails Commissioner for the City of Norfolk, VA since October 2017, Reck previously contributed to the Downtown Norfolk Council as a General Member Board, Chair of the Complete Streets Committee, and Executive Committee member from 2010 to 2016. Reck's academic background includes a PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from George Mason University and prior studies at several prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School. A significant portion of Reck's career was dedicated to NASA, where roles included Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Aerospace Technology and Deputy Chief Technologist, among others, showcasing expertise in aeronautics and propulsion technology.
