Margarita Pena

Margarita Pena has had a successful career in finance and accounting. Margarita currently holds the position of Director of Finance at the City of North Battleford since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager for the same company from July 2017 to December 2022. Margarita also has experience as a Senior Accountant at Swanson Gryba & Company from January 2013 to June 2017, as an Accountant at Hillier Hewitt Pty Ltd chartered Accountants from August 2012 to July 2013, and as a Senior Accountant at BKR Walker Wayland from May 2010 to March 2012. Margarita started their career as a Senior Accountant at Crowe Horwarth (formerly known as WHK in regional Australia) from November 2005 to April 2010.

Margarita Pena began their education in 2002 at Pontifical Xavierian University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Auckland University of Technology, focusing on Advanced Taxation and Advanced Management Accounting Papers. Margarita's education history continues with their enrollment in the CPA Australia Program from 2012 to 2017, where they earned the Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Additionally, in 2017, Margarita attended the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada program for professional development.
