Matthew Sullivan has extensive experience in engineering and community development, currently serving as the Assistant City Administrator and City Engineer for the City of Oak Creek since December 2005. Sullivan oversees the Engineering and Community Development Departments, managing public improvement projects, and inspection services for private building plan reviews and construction. Previous roles include City Engineer/Building Commissioner and Assistant City Engineer at the same organization, as well as Civil Engineer positions at HNTB and URS Corporation, where project design and management for various clients were key responsibilities. Beginning as a Resident Construction Engineer at Devery Engineering and earlier as an Inspector/Survey at R.H. Batterman & Co., Sullivan's career foundation was built on surveying and managing construction projects. Sullivan holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Transportation and Construction Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
