Alexis Ford

Alexis Ford is a dedicated library professional currently serving as a part-time librarian for the City of Oak Park since February 2024. Previously, Ford worked as a circulation clerk at the Oak Park Public Library from March 2021 to February 2024, and gained experience as an electronic poll inspector for the City of Detroit Department of Elections from November 2021 to November 2022. Additionally, Ford has a background in event support as a staff usher for Olympia Entertainment from August 2019 to March 2022, and began the library career as a library page at the Oak Park Public Library from November 2019 to August 2020. Ford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of the Arts, completed in 2018.
