Kara Grisamer

Kara Grisamer is an experienced civil and geotechnical engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. Currently serving as the City Engineer for the City of Oak Park since December 2021, Kara also holds the position of Engineering Department Manager at ATC Group Services LLC, a role maintained since December 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Maintenance Engineer and Materials and Testing Engineer at the Road Commission for Oakland County from April 2007 to November 2014, and working as a Field Engineer at SME from 2000 to 2003.
