Christia Katz Mulvey

Christia Katz Mulvey currently serves as the Housing Development Manager for the City of Oakland, overseeing the affordable housing development and first-time homebuyer program, managing a developer pipeline of over 40 developments and an asset portfolio of 100+ properties. Prior experience at the City of Oakland includes roles as Housing Development Coordinator, where responsibilities included evaluating affordable housing proposals, negotiating agreements, and monitoring project compliance, and as Assistant Project Manager at Community Housing Partnership, focusing on building repair coordination and development funding. Earlier, Christia held positions as an intern with the City of Pinole and as Associate Planner at Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, contributing to community planning initiatives. Christia holds a Master's degree in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Williams College.
