Jay Varano

Jay Varano is a seasoned professional currently serving as a firefighter with the City of Ocoee since November 2021. Prior to this role, Jay accumulated varied experience as a realtor from February 2018 to March 2022 and as cabin crew with Norwegian between May 2019 and February 2020. Jay also held the position of field coordinator at Everglades Trust from January 2017 to May 2019, focusing on community engagement and research. Earlier roles included serving as a server, barista, and bartender in several hospitality settings, where responsibilities involved customer service and inventory management. Jay began a career in urban landscaping with PLW Modelworks in 2011, utilizing computer programs for 3D imagery. Jay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Palm Beach Atlantic University, completed between 2012 and 2015.
