Hannah Schmidt

Hannah Schmidt is a Community Engagement Specialist at the City of Oregon City as of November 2023, having previously served as a GS-7 Park Ranger with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service from April to October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a GS-06 Park Ranger and GS-05 Park Ranger with the Bureau of Land Management in 2022 and 2021, respectively. Hannah's background also features service as an AmeriCorps Member with Barnstable County AmeriCorps Cape Cod, focusing on conservation land stewardship and environmental education, along with an instructional role with the Restoring Connections Environmental Leadership Program. Early career positions include serving at Evergreen Indian Cuisine and Hilton, as well as housekeeping and restaurant service at the Resort at the Mountain. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon and has also studied at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
