Patty Nelson

Patty Nelson is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in water resources and public works. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for the City of Oregon City since February 2020, Patty oversees the water portfolio, including master planning and coordination with water providers. Previous roles include City Engineer for the City of Wilsonville (October 2018 - November 2019), where responsibilities encompassed water and wastewater management and transportation improvements, and a Senior Engineer for the City of Portland (October 1992 - October 2018), focusing on development engineering and rehabilitation design. Earlier in their career, Patty held engineering associate positions at HGE Engineering and Tom Poage Engineering and Surveying, as well as an engineering technician role with the Oregon Department of Transportation. Patty Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Portland.
