Candice Temple has extensive work experience in public relations, marketing, and media relations. Candice has held various roles, including Public Media Relations Director and Public Media Relations Manager at the City of Palm Beach Gardens, where they were responsible for city communications and managing social media. Candice also served as President of the Board of Directors for the Florida Municipal Communicators Association. Additionally, they worked as a freelance writer for Elegant Island Living Magazine, focusing on travel columns. Candice has also been actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Managers for the Golden Isles YMCA and the Glynn County Board of Commissioners as the Public Information Officer. Candice started their career as a Marketing Specialist at Savannah Technical College and as a PR/Marketing Intern at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
Candice Temple earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Candice then pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Armstrong State University, completing their studies from 1999 to 2003. In 2008, Candice obtained a Certificate of Local Government Management from The University of Georgia, a program they completed in 2009. Lastly, in 2017, they attended Florida Atlantic University, where they acquired a Certificate in Supervision in Government, with a field of study in Political Science and Government.
