Ken Roske

Ken Roske has a diverse and extensive work experience in law enforcement and criminal justice. Ken currently serves as a Commissioner at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. Previously, they held the position of PIO Regional Section Chair at the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Ken also has a long tenure with the City of Pasco, where they held various roles including Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police, Police Captain, and Police Sergeant. In addition, they were involved in coordinating the National Peace Officers' Memorial Service in Washington D.C. as part of the National Memorial Committee. Ken served as the State President of the Fraternal Order of Police, where they focused on promoting and improving the positive image of the law enforcement profession. Overall, Ken's work experience demonstrates their dedication to law enforcement, leadership, and commitment to public safety.

Ken Roske obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Union Institute & University in the years 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice Management from the same university from 2013 to 2015. In 2010, they completed a Criminal Justice Certificate of Leadership from the University of Virginia. That same year, they also attended the FBI National Academy for Executive Leadership training. In 2004, they completed a program in Law Enforcement Command and Management at the Northwest Law Enforcement Command College. Ken Roske began their education journey by studying Criminal Justice/Police Science at Columbia Basin College from 1983 to 1985.

In addition to their formal education, Ken Roske has obtained various certifications. In 2022, they completed the California Police Chiefs Executive Leadership Institute at the Drucker School of Management. In 2019, they attained an Executive Development Certificate from the California Police Chiefs Association. In 2018, they completed a program titled "Succeeding as a Police Chief" also offered by the California Police Chiefs Association. In 2016, they obtained a Law Enforcement Executive Level Certification from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. In 2015, they completed an Internal Affairs certification, although the institution offering this certification is not specified. Lastly, in 1986, they acquired a Peace Officer certification from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission.
