Kathleen M. Long

Kathleen M. Long has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years. Kathleen M. has held various leadership roles in both the public and non-profit sectors.

From 2018 to the present, Kathleen has been working at the City of Paterson as the Business Administrator (Chief Operating Officer). In this position, they oversee the management of departments and a large number of employees across city government. Kathleen M. is also responsible for managing the relationship with the NJ Department of Community Affairs and overseeing the allocation of the American Rescue Plan funds for the city.

Kathleen M. also worked as the Director of Development for the New Jersey Community Development Corporation and as a Policy Analyst and Legal Administrative Assistant at Steptoe & Johnson LLP.

Kathleen's work experience also includes serving as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at the US-Ireland Alliance, where they focused on building relations between the United States and Ireland. Kathleen M. began their career in education as a Corps Member and 4th-grade teacher for the Inner City Teaching Corps in Chicago.
