Michael Araujo

Michael Araujo serves as Pawtucket City Councilor At Large, having been elected during a special election in July 2018 and starting a third full term in January 2023. Araujo previously held a position on the Pawtucket School Committee from November 2010 to August 2018, including terms as Chairperson in 2014 and 2015. Professional experience includes roles as Production Program Training Coordinator at We Make RI from January 2021 to June 2023 and Supervisor of Production at Ecological Fibers, Inc. from October 2017 to June 2020. Araujo's earlier career features a significant role as Manager of the Graphical Technical Center at Flint Group from July 2001 to October 2017, overseeing lab personnel, production schedules, and customer relations while ensuring environmental compliance.
