Anne Manning-Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corrections and public service. Currently serving as Deputy Superintendent at the Massachusetts Department of Correction since May 2006, Anne oversaw operations at a male Pre-Release facility, focusing on classification, programming, and work release. As a City Councilor for the City of Peabody since January 2008, Anne emphasizes fiscal responsibility and constituent services. Prior experience includes serving on the Peabody School Committee, where budget oversight and educational excellence were priorities, and membership on the Board of Trustees at Marian Court College, contributing to budget oversight for educational advancements. Previously, Anne worked at the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department from November 1993 to May 2006 as Supervisor of Classification and Re-entry, managing inmate classification for a population of 1,600. Anne holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Saint Anselm College.
