Shannon Torres

Shannon Torres is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Assistant Principal and Cambridge Program Coordinator at City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools since August 2015. In addition to the role of Assistant Principal, Shannon holds positions as Curriculum Specialist and Advanced Placement Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as a Social Studies Teacher from August 2009 to June 2014, where Shannon taught AP US History and Government & Economics, and was involved in extracurricular activities as a class sponsor and Relay for Life sponsor. Prior teaching roles spanned from 2004 to 2009 at both City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools and Orange County Public Schools. Shannon holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Education from Florida International University.
