Evan Guthrie

Evan Guthrie serves as a Firefighter for the City of Penticton since October 2021 and previously held the same position with the City of Vancouver from May 2020 to October 2021. Additionally, Evan Guthrie has been a Regional Mountain Bike Coach for the BC Interior with Cycling BC since February 2018 and contributes to the Central Okanagan Foundation through the Evan Guthrie Fund, which supports graduating student-athletes pursuing sport and post-secondary education. Prior experience includes working as an Initial Attack Crew Member with the BC Wildfire Service from May 2019 to April 2020 and having a professional mountain biking career as a cross-country and enduro racer, notably with the Norco Factory Team from January 2013 to September 2016. Educational accomplishments include completing Fire Fighter I & II training at the College of the Rockies and obtaining a high school diploma from Mount Boucherie Senior Secondary.
