Ron Galos

Ron Galos is an experienced GIS professional with a diverse background in geographic information systems and technical analysis. Currently serving as the Lead GIS Analyst at the City of Penticton since November 2018, Ron has previously held roles such as GIS Analyst II and Geomatics Technician at GHD, where expertise included ArcGIS, VBA, SQL, and Python. Prior experiences as a GIS Analyst at Fugro Roadware involved creating cartographic products and automating GIS processes, while earlier positions at the Corporation of the County of Essex provided foundational skills in GIS database management and data processing. Ron holds a B.E.S in Geography (Geomatics) from the University of Waterloo and a GIS Applications Specialist degree from Fleming College.
