James Freeman

James Freeman is an experienced attorney and public servant currently serving as the District 6 Representative for the Bibb County Board of Education since January 2021 and as the Chief Municipal Court Judge for the City of Perry, GA since September 2018. Freeman has a robust legal background, operating a general civil litigation practice with a focus on personal injury and family law at James M. Freeman PC since May 2006. Previous roles include serving as Insurance Claims Manager at the Law Office of Joseph M. Bruno, where assistance was provided to homeowners and businesses post-Hurricane Katrina, and as House Counsel for Progressive Insurance, gaining extensive trial experience. Freeman's legal career began with positions as an associate and law clerk in various law firms, culminating in a Juris Doctor from Mercer University - Walter F. George School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mercer University.
