Shalonda Venable-Royster

Shalonda Venable-Royster is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development and business management. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Lady Labor of Love since February 2022 and as the Founder and CEO of Collegiate Connections, LLC since October 2021, Shalonda has demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Previously, Shalonda held the position of Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Petersburg, VA, starting in April 2023, following a tenure as Business Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Virginia from October 2019 to March 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager at Drucker + Falk, LLC from August 2000 to September 2006. Shalonda holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Virginia State University.
