David Buck

David Buck currently serves as Commissioner for the Mayor’s Commission on African American Males (MCAAM) in Philadelphia, where the focus is on studying and improving conditions for Black men in the city. With experience as a Group Violence Intervention Case Manager and various roles in public relations and community support, David places a strong emphasis on mentorship and resource facilitation. In addition to ongoing roles with the MacArthur Safety and Justice Challenge Community Advisory Committee and the Black Nonprofit Leaders Emergency Preparedness (BNCEP), David holds a volunteer position as Executive Director for Bridges of Opportunities, dedicated to supporting BIPOC youth and ex-offenders. David's educational background includes a Certificate of Competency in Culinary Arts from De La Salle Vocational, complemented by ongoing leadership training in the energy sector.
