Mark Washington has a strong background in civil engineering and traffic management. Mark started their career in 1994 as a Graduate Engineer at Pennoni Associates. Mark then briefly worked as a Civil Engineer at Armand Corporation before joining the City of Philadelphia in 1997. At the City of Philadelphia, Mark held various roles, including Traffic District Engineer, Project Design Engineer, and Bridge & Highway Construction Engineer. Mark was responsible for managing traffic signals, signs, and other control devices, reviewing and approving permit applications for roadway construction, and supervising construction projects for bridges, retaining walls, and roadways.
