Mikko Viitala

Mikko Viitala has extensive experience in facilities management and real estate, currently serving as Varapuheenjohtaja at Länsi-Suomen pelastusharjoitusaluesäätiö since April 2020 and Head Of Facilities Management at the City of Pori since October 2011. In this latter role, responsibilities include managing and developing the property management operations of the Pori city group. Other positions include serving as Kiinteistönhoitopäällikkö and previously as Kiinteistöpäällikkö and Rakennuttajainsinööri. Mikko Viitala is also a member of FIFMA and has held the position of Hallituksen varapuheenjohtaja at Teljäntori Oy since January 2018. Previous experience includes working as a Kustannuslaskija at MVR-Yhtymä Oy from 2005 to 2011. Educational qualifications encompass a Johtamisen ja yritysjohtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto from Rastor-instituutti, a geMBA from Tampere University of Technology, a Master of Science in Management and Information Technology, a Johtavan ammatti-isännöitsijän tutkinto, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Construction Engineering from SAMK.
