Christopher Cowgill

Christopher Cowgill is an experienced attorney currently serving as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Port Angeles since October 2018. Prior to this role, Christopher held the position of Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Clallam County from December 2015 to September 2018 and served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Port Angeles from January 2012 to November 2015. Christopher's legal career began with the Quileute Tribe as Prosecuting Attorney from March 2008 to December 2011. Additionally, Christopher has experience as a Reserve Police Officer in Sequim, WA, and as an Enforcement Officer for the Washington State Liquor Control Board. Christopher's legal background also includes serving as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Clallam County from January 2005 to May 2007. Christopher earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington.
