Matthew Moore Eit

Matthew Moore, EIT, currently serves as a Civil/Utility Engineer I for the City of Port Angeles since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an Energy Conservation Specialist at Sustainable Resources Center from December 2021 to August 2022 and volunteered as a researcher at the Healthy Buildings Research Lab, contributing to a project that won recognition in the Cleaner Indoor Air During Wildfires Challenge. Matthew's experience includes mechanical engineering projects at Northwest Electromagnetics and Acoustics Research Laboratory and as part of a senior capstone project at Portland State University, focused on upgrading an unmanned underwater vehicle. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering Transfer from Portland Community College, and has additional educational experience in visual effects and arts.
