Rachel Ginsberg

Rachel Ginsberg, GISP, serves as the GIS Manager for the City of Porterville since January 2019, overseeing the management and maintenance of the city's GIS infrastructure, including data, analysis, and web applications. Previously, Rachel worked as a Senior GIS Analyst at Geographic Information Services, Inc. (GISinc) from February 2009 to December 2018, providing GIS support to military programs for the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, while coordinating with various installations on data development and policy. Early career experience includes a role as Sr. GIS Technician at Rand McNally, where Rachel managed map production data and supported quality control processes. Rachel holds an MS in GIS from the University of Redlands and a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside.
