Nicholas Brothers is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as an Associate Civil Engineer with the City of Reno since January 2018, focusing on wastewater treatment facility projects and reclaimed water management. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Coordinator in Public Works, overseeing watershed management, and as a Permits Branch Supervisor at the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, where responsibilities included leading the permitting team for various water quality programs. Nicholas also contributed as a Professional Engineer and Associate Engineer, conducting permitting activities and compliance inspections. In addition to professional roles, Nicholas is a volunteer with Engineers Without Borders USA, reviewing sanitation and water projects since March 2017. Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
