Rebecca Venis

Rebecca Venis has a diverse background in communications and marketing. Their most recent role was as the Director of Communications for the City of Reno, where they managed the Strategic Communications Team and provided support to city officials. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Air Service Development and Marketing for the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, where they oversaw various marketing and communication initiatives. Rebecca also worked for the University of Nevada Reno, the RSCVA, the Bauserman Group, Citadel Communications, and the Reno Gazette-Journal in various roles related to fundraising, event management, public relations, and account management. Throughout their career, they have consistently achieved success in exceeding goals and building strong relationships with clients.

Rebecca Venis obtained a Social Media and Digital Marketing Certificate from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014.
