Cesar Garcia

Cesar Garcia is a highly skilled firefighter currently serving in the City of Richfield since February 2022, with previous experience as a firefighter in the City of Plymouth from November 2019 to June 2023. Cesar holds Fire I and Fire II certifications, is Haz Mat Operations certified, and is a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMTB). In addition to firefighting duties, Cesar has a diverse background in quality improvement and medical operations through roles such as Quality Improvement Specialist at North Memorial Health and Medical Technician at the Military Entrance Processing Station. Additionally, Cesar has served in the Minnesota Army National Guard in various capacities, including Training/Readiness Non-Commissioned Officer and Combat Medic, managing training programs and medical readiness for units. Previous experience also includes supervisory roles at Prime Therapeutics and Target, where management of team performance and operational efficiency was key. Cesar earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication Radio/TV from Southwest Minnesota State University and has a foundational education from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte.
